Apple cider vinegar is one of the healthiest and most versatile foods you can consume, with an extensive list of amazing medicinal properties.
It is a common addition to slimming drinks, natural remedies, and recipes, so its popularity has drastically increased.
Yet, finding an organic apple cider vinegar, that contains “the mother” in the supermarkets is not an easy task. This is the reason why we decided to teach you how to prepare your own, homemade, 100% organic ACV.
You will need:
- 2.2 lbs / 1kg of apples
- Mineral water
- 3 spoonfuls of sugar
- 1 piece of cloth
- A large glass container
Wash the apples well, and peel them. Cut them into small pieces, and place them in the container. Add the sugar and water to cover. Next, cover the container with the cloth, use a rubber band to hold it in place, and leave it in a dark place, at a temperature between 15 to 26 degrees Celsius, for 5 or 6 weeks.
During this time, the apples will ferment, so afterward, strain the liquid, and pour it into another glass jar. Leave it thus for 3 more days.
